home from my four hour shift but not enough so I ended up taking the PM prescription that I was given back in February to try to ease it up so I could sleep well the same headache returned this morning and it has not let up all day long today is in the same location where it started yesterday right over my right eye and it’s the same side where my VP shunt is that I have from my hydrocephalus a CT scan was done, not long ago, showing no fluid there so that has nothing to do with fluid on the… read more

It might be from all the stress ur under right now; but if it continues, I would suggest going to a doctor and seeing if it’s something more serious than that. I just got my Botox shots yesterday so I’m finally migraine free again!
It does seem odd about what apparently is either a misunderstanding or poor communication between your doctor and the MRI staff. I guess you should ask questions. The most important one is does your neurologist want to have the MRI done. I suspect the MRI staff need something more than an oral verification since it's at such a vulnerable place. Finally, double check before setting up another MRI to be sure they can proceed. I had a similar problem with a less important thing that caused my MRI to not proceed when they realized they didn't have a necessary movement restriction device. They've got to follow protocol.
Ask questions. Since they messed up a couple of times, they know that they have no reason to complain about it.

Make the appointment. Sept 8 is just next week and tell them everything about your headaches and where your pain is. Hang in there. Perhaps a warm cloth on your head may help ease some of the uncomfortable and rest.

RandySherman, these headaches that keep occurring that over-the-counter drugs haven’t touched and even prescription drugs aren’t really helping either what they’re really doing to me right now is draining the energy. I have in me when they hit. Sometimes they get worse than others. There are some days that that they completely knocked me out. They have been known to also get so bad that they’ll put tears in my eyes too. I’m just trying to find an answer from somebody on what’s causing this whether it’s pinched nerves in my spine and a cervical part of the spine or if it’s coming from something else. I just need to know what’s causing this and right now nobody’s telling me. so far it’s become nothing but a joke.
Rhondaschnee I already messaged my family doctor a few minutes ago so he can see it on Monday to get his suggestion on what to do and tell him what they put me on at the neurology office earlier this year really isn’t doing anything to ease this and also mention that I have brought this up from time to time with my neurologist on numerous occasions, but he seems to not want to address it nor give suggestions or think of any type of test that could be ran other than a CT scan that he had done after saying to me during the appointment was probably not gonna show anything since then nothing has been done other than adding another pill to what I was prescribed earlier this year he added last month well from what I’m seeing so far that’s not helping either so it really gave me no choice but to email my current family doctor this evening and see what he is saying that could be tried whether it’s physical therapy or something else cause I am getting no suggestions whatsoever from my neurologist. He’s not even considered physical therapy on the neck where I’ve been having that discomfort from for a while where they were supposed to do that MRI earlier this Year in the hospital canceled it so pretty much right now. I’m at a loss until I get an answer from somebody. But I’m pretty much bound to determined to get an answer from a doctor even if it means getting it from a different neurologist if I can’t get one from my current family doctor.
