Yesterday at work I felt a bit odd all day. On the bus home it then hit me, I felt like I was in an alternate universe or something. I felt away with the fairies but at the same time knew where I was if that makes sense. I walked home from the bus stop but just felt so so so bizarre and sick. Anyway it lasted about 20 minutes or so before I felt like my normal self again. Is that possible for a focal seizure?

What you described sounds like my auras. I don't know that mine have ever lasted that long before I snap back to reality, but I know that feeling you described.

a complex partial (focal onset impaired awareness) is a tricky thing. if it last under 5 ish minutes... you are fine. over 5 ish minutes... then you need to go to the er. then there is the recovery. it is perfectly normal to feel tired and out of it after a seizure. i mean tired and can not think.

For me yes. Maybe 40 minutes. They are usually only 3 minutes but sometimes they last longer.
