Initially I would lose consciousness after an aura in my early seizures, but in my most recent seizures they still happen but I am conscious. It’s kinda weird to me. I suspect some residual level of meds in my system is related to this.

Also through monitoring, it appears that I was having seizures during the night but I didn’t notice these at all. Not sure if they are a cause for concern then.

I haven’t found any info at all of anyone having an experience like this I was put off by the response when I messaged my neurologist (or rather a NP) a nurse messaged back and just kind laughed it off. I told her again what happened and that it doesn’t happen, but it did with me and that I wanted to hear from the NP or a neurologist but so far nothing. Like most on here, I don’t think anyone is taking me seriously. I’ve been having seizures for years, am well aware of the different types of seizures. I was partially awake during part of a TC seizure. Don’t know what else to say.

I wouldn't say i was awake but the closest to this i came was the one I had almost 3 years ago. I was aware all the way up to the moment before it happened then the post hrs. What makes it even more strange is i still remember it.

I have tonic-clonic seizures and am completely unconscious during them. I don't know I had one until I am awake and aware several hours later.

Because I am frequently kind of half awake during dreams and can sometimes even slightly change the dream a little, as I’m having it. That’s why at first I thought that’s what it was. But I wasn’t dreaming, I was actually having a TC seizure and was slightly awake during at least part of it.
