Anyone Have A Lead As To How To Find A Dietician Familiar With The Modified Atkins Diet Preferably In The Denver Area?
My neurologist doesn't have a lead and we're going to try that method to possibly wean me off pregabalin. I have tried 14 AEDs all with intolerable side effects. Pregabalin has caused 28 pound weight gain and fluid retention but is the best of the worst.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member A suggestion do the search on Google using nutrition Denver CO or dietitian Denver CO and you will get results showing what is needed. I just did both and came back with results showing name, address, and phone numbers.
You'll have to look through both and find what is desired but the above should be of assistance. Hope that helps!
It's dif per person, I would suggest that if your doc doesn't have any recommendations for the? You asked about, call a few of the medical field etc resources online or from the hospital and see what they can do for you
