After my brain surgery I lost my taste and smell. Ounce in a while I can taste something. And sometimes I can smell.

Unfortunately, I have lost most of my sense of taste, and smell is really weak. I do like sweetness and saltiness, but that may be because I can taste things better when they’re sweet (or flavored with herbs or spices). You are not alone!!! Have a good weekend …

I do Lena, I have to force myself to eat. What's it like for you?

I've never particularly craved sweets but occasionally like a little soft drink or hot chocolate so I think it's just a personal taste thing. Love salsa and spices instead... lots of seasonings in my cabinet as well as making homemade salsa in the summertime.
I'm actually super thankful that I don't crave sweets often--diabetes runs in the family. I really don't want epilepsy + diabetes!
