Sudden Fall-down Dizziness?

I take Vimpat, lamotrigine, and phenytoin twice daily and have a VNS implant. My epilepsy is pretty much under control except for every few weeks, about 20 minutes after I take my meds (morning OR evening) I get dizzy and literally can’t walk for a couple hours. And I don’t mean steady myself on a wall, I mean I will be fine, then I’m on the floor! Definitely let your doctor know again and ask if he can possibly change or a different medication

Because it happen 20 mins after your meds means meds of that I am sure when I take my meds in the nighttime I feel woozy it is my large dose because my Epilepsy if it show happens on wake quite common for me but falling to the floor it’s back to the GP are neuro until you find right dosage look after yourself

Hi Shellee it’s back to gps are neurologist ask for a blood check would it be possible for a medication review? When I say Team I mean the resources that are available on this site. Top left of your tablet you will see to lines = this is your resources take care of your self don’t be fobbed of by Gp are neurologist, until they resolve your issue should have a blood test done every 12 months to make sure your levels are okay. How much lamotrigine are you taking. My doctor recently cut back on that and added Clobazam and I have been doing well. I would occasionally have dizziness, although I don’t fall and I haven’t experienced any dizziness since I started taking it 👍❤️🙏
