Hi all- I just had Onfi added to my medication regimen and wondering if anyone has experienced side effect such as irritability or aggression with this drug. I woke up in the middle of the night so irritated I felt like I wanted to punch a wall for absolutely no reason. I have very vivid dreams every night as a side effect of the lamictal, but very rarely are the dreams anger or anxiety producing and my dreams last night were completely pleasant. I have very vivid dreams. On Dilantin and Oxcarbazepin. Nuero when I asked him whether it was the meds or the seizure he seems to think that it was the seizures. After asking the patients here if they were having dreams they all said yes and The drugs are not the same. I see dead relatives in lots of them they’re a blessing in ways

Hi Renee1968, I’m sorry you had a rough one last night- I did as well and woke up pretty shook also. I hope you are able to shake off the bad feelings and have a good day.

I wake up crying sometimes but I’ve never woke up angry. Last night’s dream has me pretty shook though.

Thanks Jimi and JackLaverty your comments are helpful. Just knowing others have had similar feelings, even if context may be different, is reassuring. I recently had a sleep study with EEG montage that showed no seizure activity, for what that’s worth. I think it may have been a combo of the vivid dreams and still recovering from my recent TC seizure- it is taking longer to recover from these, I am finding.
