The EEG will help where your brain wave is irregular and maybe causing your seizures. There maybe more than one area with that irregular brainwave. Overall it will help the Dr. Detect, where your seizures are located and what type they are and what kind of Epilepsy you may have.

I suggest that you call the nurse. I'd like to think that you'll get at least a little information. You certainly won't find out "what's next" (if anything) but perhaps you can get a decent explanation of what these results are referring to. I'd also get on an apt. cancellation list. It's no fun to have to wait so long to get answers to what are probably very simple questions for those who know how read these results.

I agree with your post, it's understandable to be concerned about that, it's dif per person, and I am not a know it all when it comes to technology and medical terminology and such etc, but I am a person who does like to learn about and ask about things I think and feel necessary, I may not be a doctor or anyone that knows about that but it' doesn't hurt to be a person who is the patient and wants and has a right to know what Is going on and there doing to me or you, ask about it to your doc or someone else who you think may have a idea about your concerns about the treatment and such etc,,, but hang in there and try to stay pos, I do and so can you, my opinion
