HAS ANYONE HEARD OF CANATOL RX TO STOP SEIZURES?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been reading about this product which is a CBD spray and it indicates that it can stop a seizure in less than 20 seconds. However, I have been trying to buy it in Miami, Florida without success. I believe they only sell it in Colorado. However, I have reached out to the distributor and have not received a response, yet. Have you used this product? Does it really work? Where do they sell it? Please help! I am willing to fly to Colorado to buy this nasal spray if its true. THANK YOU… read more

I hope that your son never has another seizure. You are being a very good mother by searching so far for something keep his seizures away. I hope that he can never see another seizure again and will grow up to live a prosperous and healthy life!

It isn't a CBD, it is 5mg THC per spray. This can be very expensive and very hit or miss with people. Sprays like this are mostly used to clear stuffy noses and help people breathe easier, the THC can help release the stress in the sinuses. They claim that they can also be used to cure inflammation, seizures, and neurological disorders. Also they are very expensive. Cannabis products cycle in and out very quickly because there is so much competition in the market right now. Only they really big name "monopoly" brands tend to always be in stock. For this specific product there may be a chance that it is already being sold in Orlando, FL but you need to have a medical card to get it. There isn't much information about the product your looking for in terms of where it is sold or if you will need a medical card even here in Colorado. You may come out here and drive from shop to shop and not find it. Also if you do call around and find a place that has a steady supply on hand, taking it across state lines could get you in serious trouble. If you do get to try this product and it works but it is only available in Colorado it is probably better just to move to Colorado.
In Florida there is a prescription pure CBD medication called Epidiolex, you could talk to your neurologist about that. In terms of rescue medications in my experience Clonazepam Orally Disintegrating Tablets have saved me from may seizures.
If you are looking into cannabis products as a way to get away from "western" medicine, trust me cannabis just full of chemicals. Even the product you're inquiring about is full of chemicals.
I hope your seizures go away.

I live in florida and saw it in the trulieve website and looked up the name and found this forum. It’s $120 on trulieve.com for a .1 ML container that says it has 300 1-second sprays. If you have a medical card or know someone with one go on trulieve.com and click the one closest to you, look for it it should be under the topical section, if you don’t have it at ur trulieve, look at different cities in florida

Just bought it in trulive at Hollywood and 95 intersection south east side in broward county. Not. Used it yet, doing copious research will report what I find.

I have heard of people who swear by it but, I haven't taken it ever at all. I use to take Dilantin & Phenobarbital. I was taken off
of these 2 about 2 years ago due to severe pain in both feet as it was causing & I developed Neuropathy ; that was when I was taken off Dilantin & Phenobarbital and put on Keppra and Lyrica. The worst of the pain has subsided , but, if I am on my feet for a long period
of time , I get to developing bad foot pains.
