Thank you Maureen I know I have warnings "auras"with my absence seizures I feel off more tired dizzy I also know that we are here for support not to treat diagnose or prescribe that's what our doctors are for ..and we get some really good ideas on this site and support so pass by whatever people tell u to do by your Doctor please. Auras were called warnings as well not just for grandmal seizures I don’t have grandmal seizures I once got a warning or a an aura a d I walked into a shop went into a corner had a seizure I was only diagnosed at that time and it was simple partial and absence seizures I had at that particular time today I have complex partial seizures absence focal and I take them in my sleep I also have involuntary movements where I bruise myself too I don’t get as many auras or warnings anymore but my neurologist told me my aura was part of my seizure because they can be really short sometimes x x

Hi are u talking about an " aura" that is what I have b4 a seizure knowing its going to happening.. my neuro calls it that?? Alot of epilepsy patients have that according to him and he works at UCSF in San Francisco ..if so dont stress on it totally normal for us 🥰 ask ur Dr.. Relax have a gd day .

I was lucky enough, after I threw my very first GrandMAL to be put on
TEGRETOL~ 600MG & 45MG DEXEDRINE in 1969.
Have been on TEGRETOL since then & haven't had a GrandMAL in over 44+ YEARS.
Sounds like it maybe time for a new Neurologist who will help you get control
of your Seizures.
Your post is making me really angry in the sense of the word that your doctor
doesn't want to help you find the drug that will help you???

I typed that question out while i was having a seizure, I'm still having seizures right now, i never came out of them and i feel like everyone is an electrical signal in my split mind. I'm starting to come out of a seizure but not very good.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member i feel lightning is coming from the spirit that created us, i feel we are all spirits and during our dreams we float with each other and it feels like we are floating when we talk to each other. Everything still feels so weird because I'm not out of the seizure yet. I still feel like an electrical spirit coming back to my body.
