A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

It most happens early morning, im having a seizure, losing my vision, headache, sickness, dont realise it happening until i wake up. It like im unconousious because i dont know where i am for a few secoud. Im gone completely blind so i dont know what in doing until i have to shout for one of my parents. I dont always shout i do tend to go through it on my own.

I have 20 to 45 sec seziures when am in deep sleep so I know nothing about them till I can see them on the readout on my neropace when I go to my neroligest. I do know I have had a serious seziure in my sleep or a long one as I'll wake up tired and exhausted and confused for awhlie. Am having nocturnal seziures along with my controlled seziure activity during the day.

Yes, I actually had my third seizure while sleeping and didn’t have a competent person to call 911, it lasted so long that I was having trouble breathing and needed oxygen. Hopefully my medication keeps this from happening again.

I hope you have told your doctor? And if not and you’re keeping it to
Yourself DON’T I did keep stuff to myself for years you don’t do that
I want you to tell your doctor and get help. I promise you’ll be fine

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member:. There's a mother at this end, whose child has Dravet's Syndrome and she used to make his marijuana oil. Now, that CBD oil is available, I'm not sure if she makes it or not.

I absolutely have had them in my sleep. I will have them any time with no warning, but obe if my biggest struggles is waking up after a seizure or amidst one and not having my full brain activity. I have been cought walking around outside in my pjs. I have tried to go into a neighbors house like its my own and ive even bit someone before. No matter the time a seizure is a struggle but they are common durring sleep.
