Just curious if anyone else was on Briviact and what side effects they are having if any
Yes I was on Briviact about a month ago. My insurance company would not cover it. We have Blue Cross Blue Shield. My doctor was giving me samples until he no longer could provide them. Without insurance the medicine costs me $500.00! Ouch.
I have never tried getting help from Norvatis. I am on a fairly new drug called Fycompa. It has been a big help. My doctor gave me a prescription card and I only pay $10. Without that card my new medicine would be $889.00.
I am on Briviact. I have been for a little more than 6 months. I take it and Topamax and they seem to work pretty well. I was on Keppra before but had to come off of it to start the Briviact. The way my doctor explained it to me was that Briviact is basicly the same medication as Keppra with less side effects. I can't understand why someone would be on both meds.
That is great to hear, I have been on keppra and trileptal as well, and it has been controlling my partial seizures as well. Hey Jacquelyne have you ever tried to get assistance from Norvatis? they maybe able to help you on your meds if they provide it. Or try provider's advocate or patient assistance...
My daughter is on briviat and it seems to be working for her. She is also taking keppra, trilepta. We are hoping to get the Neuro pace
