Sorry to hear, and like my dr said, if the medicine is working and got me sz free which is both brand name, he said leave it alone and been sz free 23 yrs now, Your dr should have did same thing leave it alone

Hey, don't have grand mal but I have had a 5 year seizure free period as a child. Then after a SEEG I had a 3 years break. This one I don't believe it is thanks to medication, but yes it happens, mostly with children.

I'm taking 500mg of Dilantin (Phenytoin) daily. Been seizure free for about 25 years.

I get mind threw mail by Express script for 3 yrs now and never had a problem yet, But I do check when bottle arives to make sure XR is in there, just hope never have that problem, if they try od do that I will see a Lawyer if they dont correct it and send me another one, with difference in price

I hadn't had a convulsion for over fifty years. However since Express Scripts sends medications by mail there is no way to guarantee that they are sending ALL BRAND as my neurologist requested. Each of my three prescriptions-Brand Name Only-Dispense As Written. However it was at the end of a bottle of pills-so perhaps the Express Script people slipped some Generic Medicine in there-I'm allergic to it and the records say so. Perhaps some people don't want to admit the truth. Linda Concerned
