Hello, I understand where you are coming from, the very first thing that I let people know is my medical issue. Hence it is on my neck with a medical ID. I believe that if somebody is not worth talking to about your medical issues then they are not worth being in your life. honestly a person is going love you and want you regardless of medical issues. If they are true.

I think we're so used to meeting mean people that we forget about the good ones who do exist. There's is nothing wrong with having epilepsy, there is something wrong with people. Epilepsy isn't the problem, it never was. Epilepsy is part of who we are but it doesn't define us so screw the people who think otherwise. I'm sorry but I'm proud to be an epileptic and if anyone has a problem with that then I don't give a crap anymore. I love the person who I am and so does everyone else. They may get scared but they stick by me through think and thin.

I have always told anyone I dated that I had epilepsy and those that really cared about me did stick with me.

When people see the word epilepsy they usually panic because they have no clue what it is at all. I've told thousands of people have I epilepsy, then I explain to them what it actually is. Many times they find what I have to say so interesting they want to learn even more, because it is something they have never heard before.
I explain it so it is easy to understand and since I keep it simple they aren't confused and never know it is advanced Neuroscience unless I was to them.
