I take 1500mg keppra twice a day, I do get regular headaches & tremors which I take zapain & propanol for, Iโ€™m very forgetful & take a while to process information, I also suffer with depression which Iโ€™m going through a good phase at the moment. Iโ€™ve never had any rage, I think Iโ€™ve got used to my other conditions & never really thought about associating them with keppra because Iโ€™ve been on keppra for so long & these conditions have developed a long time after I first started taking keppra ๐Ÿ˜Š

Keppra (levetiracetam) is a commonly prescribed anti-seizure medication. Here's a breakdown of its known side effects:

Common side effects include:
- Drowsiness or fatigue
- Dizziness
- Weakness
- Headache
- Irritability, agitation, or aggression
- Loss of appetite
- Nausea or vomiting
- Nasal congestion Serious but rare side effects can include:
- Mood or behavior changes
- Suicidal thoughts or behavior
- Severe skin reactions
- Coordination problems
- Worsening seizures
- Changes in blood pressure or blood cell count

If any of these serious side effects occur, it's important to contact a doctor right away. One thing worth knowing is that Keppra is generally considered "weight-neutral," meaning it's unlikely to cause significant weight gain or loss for most people โ€” though some do report changes.

As always, never stop taking Keppra suddenly without speaking to a doctor first, as this can trigger withdrawal seizures. A gradual taper plan is the safest approach.
