she was asking how I felt . I must of hit my left side because it hurts like hell right now . Reasons like this is every reason why to consider the rigid wheelchair ♿️ with the safety belt around the waist. Including a power assist with be back seat having fold down handles in case I’m unable to push myself and need a love one to.

Members rallied around a post about experiencing a seizure without any memory of it happening, with many sharing that they also rely on others or notice physical clues like pain and confusion to know a seizure occurred. Several members described using safety tools like Apple Watch fall detection, wheelchairs, VNS magnets, and DBS devices to stay safer, and one member shared plans to request a rigid wheelchair and PT/OT referral after being injured during an episode. A recurring theme was the importance of protecting independence while managing unpredictable seizures, with many finding comfort in knowing they are not alone.

VirginiaPowers ,
This is long over due for me . This should have been done a long time ago. I’m just not willing to risk it any longer. It only takes one time for me to get hurt from an episode. The one that hit me Friday afternoon I hit my left rib cage and it’s been hurting like the devil since this occurred.

Usually I can tell because of how tired I feel. The only knowledge that I have about them otherwise is what I'm told. AMAZING!

I get that same feeling. I always have to ask both or one of my parents normally.
