A post about the Freedom 250 Grand Prix in Washington, D.C. quickly became a warm community check-in, with most members sharing they missed the race due to busy weekends filled with yard work, harvests, and appointments. A recurring theme was the beauty of simple, grounded living, as one couple shared their acre of organic gardens, their love of peaceful outdoor time, and their deep care for each other during a serious illness. The thread blossomed into a deeply touching exchange of prayers, empathy, and brotherly love between members who clearly mean a great deal to one another.

Jen, how big of a "garden" do you have? My EX's parents, awesome people, had a 1 acre garden. And my relatives in Indiana have similar.

William, how are you doing? Jen's words speak volumes and show much more than you want to admit. I can hear your struggles in you words, so no need to share if you don't desire. It doesn't take a brain scientist to know you're hurting and whether or not I know the extent of what you're dealing with, GOD knows. So I talk to My Heavenly Father (pray) and ask to bless you and take care of you, and God does the rest.

We call utilizing every nook and cranny being efficient. I used to have garden for a small yard. So I cheat and walk to the produce stand nearby or the farmer's market which is a little further just as I did w/ my Mom. Both have been there all my life.
You and Jen are deeply in my prayers.
God bless my brother William sister Jen
Much love
Your brother Nathan

My Parents-in-Law was the same. They had a huge garden up in Western Maryland. It was a combination of vegetables and flowers. It was amazing!
