Good day, I am going on a major travel and it is over 14 hour flight on a plane for 7 hours then a small stand by for 3 hours the fly again for over 6 hours. I travel a lot but not this long. The first day from flights I get worried about running and working out. Does anyone have anything you do before you travel on long flights that you usually don't do. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Thanks in advance

Members offered helpful tips for managing epilepsy during long flights, with the most common advice being to always keep medications in carry-on bags and stick to the same medication schedule regardless of time zones. Several members shared encouraging personal stories, including flying to Israel, Australia, and across Europe without experiencing seizures, which helped reassure others who felt nervous about traveling. A recurring theme was the importance of carrying a doctor's letter explaining your condition, using medication reminder apps, booking special assistance at the airport, and resting well before and after long journeys.

I haven't travelled on flight since 2021 going to Cyprus with Dad and Bro but my Dad is now looking into living in France again as he currently is selling his Cyprus house so we are more close by which my Mum agrees I catch a special needs flight to France when time comes.

When I traveled, I always made sure I had my meds on me at all time . I would put my Meds in my in my leisure bag . Then it will be next to me thru my entire trip
