Members discussed the importance of medication timing for epilepsy treatment, with several agreeing that sticking to a consistent schedule, such as every 12 hours, is key to managing seizures effectively. Several members shared practical tips like setting reminders, logging medication names and times, and adjusting timing slightly after a blood draw as advised by their doctors. A recurring theme was the value of working closely with a neurologist or pharmacist to personalize a medication routine that works best for each individual.

Timing of when you take your medicine is importantant. Review it with the pharmacist or seizure nurse or Epileptologist. I love running but needed to make sure I had enough fluids. Had children learned to flexible but got good care, I was an Neuro diagnostic Technician but loved myself and others! I wish everyone good care

Dr told me that when having a seizure your body/brain relax, like it’s sleeping. That’s the reason a person may wet no matter when they have the seizure. That’s me.
