Many community members responded to the question about headaches after extended cell phone use, with most agreeing that screen time can trigger headaches and migraines, often linked to blue light exposure. Several members shared helpful strategies like turning down screen brightness, taking regular breaks, lying down in a dark quiet room at the first sign of symptoms, and wearing special blue-light-blocking glasses. A recurring theme was listening to your body early, with many encouraging speaking to a doctor if headaches persist.

My husband William and me ,, Jen ,, be both prone to migraines ., watching a phone or computer screen without a break about every hour or so causes a migraine aura with zigzag rainbow colour proceeding from left to right across our field of vision .. for me ,, these can go on for a few minutes to an hour or so ., for William ., these are an aura .. a seizure .. he may go into a migraine ., and then into a full-blown seizure later ., taking break and going to lie down in a quiet darkened room works for both of us .. same with video games ., we csn only play for much shorter periods than most ., at first sign of the aura we stop and do the above., most times this will nip the seizure in the formative stage.. hugs from William and Jen πŸ’œπŸ’™πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ•ŠπŸ•Š
