I’m waiting to see Neurologist, to get some answers and have an MRI scan to hopefully find out why my memory goes when I have a seizure! Which is affecting my life a lot , as I’m scared to be outside in the public.. I’m always indoors feeling down , I only visit my mum and family.. 😪

I’m so sorry to hear that.. wen I went thru my 20 year gap no seizures my memory was on point I could remember everything but since I started having them back it’s like I can barely remember yesterday sometimes.. so I find myself writing things down a lot. It sucks bc I’m only 39

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I would say that my seizures are getting less frequent but more severe when it happens. My memory is definitely getting worse. But the medication that I'm on know is, by far the most useful as far as trimming down the number of seizures.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member That probably explains why I've been a lot better these last few years. Before then when I was on my older me that was slowly failing my memory was really bad and was getting worse. Now I'm seizure free and its a lot better. But I've been like this for almost 3 years.
