Members shared personal experiences with anxiety medications and epilepsy, noting how some meds like clonazepam and lorazepam serve double duty for both anxiety and seizures. Several members described weaning off certain medications when the original reasons no longer applied, while others expressed frustration with doctors limiting access to medications that truly help them. A recurring theme was that managing anxiety looks different for everyone, with some finding relief through medication, and others turning to natural approaches like yoga, music, hobbies, and the comfort of beloved pets.

i have never had a support dog, but think they might lessen anxiety. I think possibly some dogs can detect when a seizure is about to happen.
