answers I need. I I’ve got a follow w up with my gp tomorrow morning. I’ll definitely ask what can be done about it to my new family doctor. This is making me feel confined as well having to stay one spot when I don’t want to.

How can you address daily leg weakness with your doctor?

It's completely understandable to feel frustrated when symptoms like leg weakness are affecting your daily life and mobility. Bringing this up with your GP tomorrow is an important step.

When you meet with your doctor, consider these approaches:

Be specific about your symptoms:
- Describe when the weakness happens (time of day, after activities, etc.)
- Explain which leg is more affected
- Note if it's related to your seizures or medications
- Mention how it's limiting your movement and independence

Questions to ask:
- Could this weakness be related to my seizures or a side effect of my epilepsy medications?
- Are there tests that can help identify what's causing this?
- What treatment options are available to improve my leg strength and mobility?
- Should I see a specialist about this symptom?

Keep a record:
Consider tracking when the weakness occurs, its severity, and any patterns you notice. This information can help your doctor understand what's happening and develop a plan to address it.

You deserve answers and relief from symptoms that are confining you. Don't hesitate to be persistent about getting the help you need.

Quinn, I'm sorry you're not being able to get it resolved. It's a shame your Dr. is being so difficult as it sounds. I'd give him a hard time, a taste of his own medicine. Can you not get referred to a better Neurologist close by?

Lori yes it is As you know I’ve been trying to get this resolved for a good while. My doctor wants to give me the run around. He has no clue what so ever how difficult this is getting. As time passes the worse it gets.
