Epilepsy is a disability. Many have different versions of this disorder. There are some that have the ability to do many things throughout the day even drive then there are others that can do very little because how the Epilepsy has damaged the central nervous system. As I stated, every person with this disability is different. The epilepsy specialist can provide a specific form that will assist the ability to obtain transportation from county, city, state that is given to those with disabilities. I had my epilepsy specialist fill out this form that was provided to my state benefits specialist who has been assisting me. By doing so when needed I can phone the transportation office ahead of time and schedule a pick up time for a particular visit to a doctor's office as an example.
