@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member,
I may not like having this condition, but I wouldn’t want to give up any experience I’ve had. Without the knowledge and experience I couldn’t relate to anyone. It would be like (being the mom I am), losing memories of giving birth to my children and not remembering the experience. Sure it was rough and painful, but the outcome of the Joy I found afterwards, was well worth the pain. It may not make sense to a lot of people, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. Sure I don’t want seizures anymore, but I don’t wanna lose the experience either.

Our answer be way different ., Jen my dear wife tell me from our beginning my seizures be a part of me .. and she love ALL of me .. we two share many poignant and precious memories along this long journey she choose to share with me .. because of this bond between us .. We would choose to keep these memories ., difficult as they may be ., because they be an integral and indomitable part of who we be .. thank you for this brilliant question .. fellow warriors we be William and Jen💜💙🤗🌱⚘🕊

I'd keep my memory. there is always a chance I might be able to use my experiences to help someone going through a difficult time with seizures

If followed strictly the ketogenic diet will clear brain fog. Our bodies need Omega 3’s which can be found in fish oil supplements. I do both and my cognitive skills have come up. I was on 11 different seizure meds at one time. After taking seizure meds over 34 years I have to say I am impressed how much this has helped me. Everyone is different but at least don’t knock it until you try it.
