And we as epileptics have to remember how we can be so similar and/or so different! And this is a prime example!!! For me personally it is DEFINITELY the med and its side effects. I can so vividly remember getting that funny feeling in my stomach as a young boy in the early ‘80s. And I thought it was all part of life - that perhaps I was growing up a bit quicker than others my age. And I can so easily remember so much from back then. But that funny feeling turned out to be from seizures - and though the aura feeling stopped after I started with meds(100mg of Tegretol back then), my memory got hit hard all of a sudden. School itself got a wee bit tougher, that’s for sure. But another prime example would occur when we’d be watching a sitcom. All the other guys would be talking about what occurred in the episode from the previous week, but I just couldn’t recall it like everyone else.

Brain fog for me is when I cannot express myself clearly. I know what I want to say but there is a haze, a cloud and everything uttered is jumbled up. At times it presents has being unforgetful and unfocused.

I think what it is is when you are thinking or doing something that you have to do or need to do you have to kind of switch gears you might say do something else that is just as important

I love some of these analogies!!! Great and I so relate!!! I often feel like I can not put words together or remember words I know well like I am in a bookstore or library and the books are all out of order or all over the floor and I can’t find the one I am looking for. And what is weird I feel like I am making no sense talking and people say Inam
Talking fine just a little slow (I do NOT EVER talk slow EVER) So that is really a problem for me.
