I’ve never heard of grounding before. Is there anything we can do to help ourselves get better besides grounding?

Grounding won't do anything. The issue comes from abnormal electrical firing in the brain. It's not an external issue.

Has anyone tried grounding sheets and noticed any effects on their epilepsy, either positive or negative? Also, how can you find previous questions you or others have asked?

Unfortunately, the available information doesn't include specific experiences from members about grounding sheets and their impact on epilepsy. This would be a great topic to explore with other members directly.

Many members find it helpful to keep a journal to track what might affect their seizures. One member mentioned keeping a pre-seizure journal and discovered their triggers included low blood sugar and dehydration. Another member noted they hadn't thought of keeping a seizure journal until joining the community and found it valuable.

If you're considering trying grounding sheets or any new approach, it's important to talk with your healthcare team first. They can help you understand if it's safe to try and how to monitor any potential effects.

To find previous questions and conversations, you can use the search function on MyEpilepsyTeam. You can also check your own Activities page where your posts and comments are saved. The community has discussed many topics, and searching by keywords can help you locate specific conversations or questions you've seen before.
