Over the condition at hand about the similar way be it' whatever the condition is at hand and illness or general health overall, I think it's at a three way split, I am pretty open about anything I like to discuss about here and with my doc and there medical personnel who work there, also with hospitals when I go to them on occasion or for a emergency visit on occasion also, but I think it's at a balance with me and my life with, I personally go a bit over by myself with and do, but I am not… read more

I think America has a corrupt medical system who is all about making $ and not taking care of issues, I think doctors just go by what they learn in college how to push pills and make $, and I think the only real way is to help ourselves we all have phones, tablets, or laptops so we need to use them to do our own research and help ourselves naturally.

I only see my doctor if I have a question or problem other than Epilepsy. I am well under control and he has no problem - he is concerned about my osteoporosis and makes sure I have the pills, as well as my meds.

When seeing my dr’s, I’m an open book, i do research a little bit about a couple of my conditions as they’re not really up to date with what can happen as the disease progresses. But I write it down for the dr; they research it on their own and then we meet again with ideas of treatment. So it’s a big collaboration between them and me as to how to proceed with treatment and how they think I might ( or not) respond to the treatment. I can’t take lots due to my seizure meds, so we’ll way the pros and cons of treatment or changing my epilepsy meds which brings my neurologist in on the conversation. Or if someone suggests something that’s worked for them, they discuss that as an option as well
