My son called uber in Arizona and a driverless car showed up! It was SO BIZARRE! They don’t have them where I live but my son saves on a car payment, insurance, gasoline, maintenance, and all the headaches that go with owning a car.

We don’t have the driverless cars in my area as far as I know, but it actually kind of freaks me out to think about it. Maybe I’m just old school.

The really scary thing is I remember it was only 7 years ago just before Covid I was getting a Uber into the City and the driver randomly asked about self-driving cars. At the time I thought it was something that was more like 15-20 years away but its only 7 years later and hear we are....

The thing that came to mind for me was...it would be like the very first time you took your hands off your bike handle bars "Look Mum no hands" and then proceed to fly over the handle bars and hit the road face first!! 😉🤣🤣

Well, I’ve never been in a driverless car, however, it makes me a little nervous to think about being in one without a driver. But then again I’ve ridden in cars. Where I was not comfortable with the driver. That being said, I think the jury is still out on cars with no drivers. I don’t want to be in that test group but maybe as time goes by I might warm up to the idea.

I will enjoy the convenience I will miss revving my engine and burning rubber.
