Find a doctor who will help you personally. That is exactly what I need to do, as some side effects from meds hit some epileptics a little harder.

There is a supplement for memory that may help, I think it's called Prevgin (sp)

As epileptics we can be so similar AND/OR so different. And for me personally it is definitely the meds. The very best I’ve felt since I started meds over 30 years ago? That was after the only 30 consecutive days when I took no medicine. And that was 2 weeks after my brain surgery - when I simply felt fantastic. That’s why I was so shocked when the doctor told me I still had epilepsy and would have to restart taking medication. Though I do have far less seizures, the side effects are still here and they’re simply a little deeper. That may because mine is the left temporal lobe.

I'm skeptical about these made-for-television memory product ads. I think my epileptologist would recommend this if he thought it would be beneficial, especially since I complain about my memory issues at every visit.
