Normally when I do this I just go to the dr and do it. Today I thought stuff it and I tried the drs repeat prescription function. And it worked. I'm very surprised it worked. Its great that it did because I don't have to go now but I was expecting them to get me to do a blood test. So I'm not sure whether I just stuffed up or not.

I order all my refills by calling a telephone number, regardless of the day of the week. My diabetic and others, I order through by touch-tone phone. It tells me when my prescription will be ready for pick up. It is also possible to send a message through an application to have them renewed.

My seizure prescriptions are in my reminders on my phone to place a refill. I call a number through touch-tone, just like my regular prescriptions, but these are retrieved from a FedEx pick up site in Walgreens, because it’s a control substance. When I need a renewal the touch-tone service will indicate this, and give me selection for the pharmacy to contact my doctor, and obtain a new prescription. About six months ago, the pharmacy started sending me text messages when it was time to renew my prescriptions. I clicked on the link, and it placed the refill, and it would send me the FedEx tracking number by text message.

If you get a 30 day supply, before your meds are gone, they refill script automatically. My GP when she visits once a month makes sure I have enough refills or sends the refills in on her computer at my house or I call and they send the prescription in.
