Ringing in the ears (tinnitus) can be frustrating, especially when it's constant. While the search results don't specifically address tinnitus in relation to epilepsy, this symptom could potentially be related to your seizure medications or other factors.
It's important to contact your doctor right away to discuss this new symptom. They can help determine if:
* Your anti-seizure medication might be causing this side effect
* You need a medication adjustment
* There's another underlying cause that needs attention
In the meantime, try to track when the ringing is most noticeable and if anything makes it better or worse. This information will be helpful for your doctor.
Don't hesitate to reach out to your healthcare team - persistent changes in your symptoms should always be evaluated, especially when they're affecting your daily comfort and quality of life.
