One that you prefer and stay with, I am wondering and curious about your thoughts on the post, I myself don't seem to have much of a problem with any of the medical people I have been seeing or that have a different field I've been sent to see for test, and other areas of medical care for, I myself don't or don't remember needing a second opinion that I can remember in my life with, I am ok with all I've encountered and took care of me with, I am just venting about the post here and my opinion… read more

It doesn’t matter what doctor i get as long as im getting treated is cool but i find it hard being told i need to go to an appointment cause i don’t like conversating about the fact it gets me irritated cause i feel like a visit aint gonna change my seizures nor is gonna stop them i just want my meds and thats it. this unfortunate condition will never leave my system i came to the realization it’s never going away. like i always said it is what it is.

Who agrees with me?

In past have gone for a 2nd opinion, due to not feeling good about what was told by the Dr. I had seen. That's been sometime ago, I am thankful to all I see now.

I have very talented specialists for all of my medical healthcare needs including a wonderful surgeon that I has taken care of me for device replacement surgery. I have a general practitioner that is rarely seen as I see the specialist doctors more frequently but there are times when I would phone his office for advice and obtain a needed consultation.

Im fine with the regular doctor I see. Although I need to find a new neurologist. Mine is going to be retiring. That makes me sad.

I have a Neurologist. Since I am over 7 years seizure free, I have a phone appointment with here every 6 months. If I need a prescription, I can either call or email her and she usually sends it in right away(even on the weekend). My primary doctor who I will see her on Monday, is a Visiting doctor. She visits me at home. If I need and x-ray or ECHO, or any other type of test done, she brings the machine to my house and performs the tests there.
