At first when I was seeing my reg doc I've been seeing almost 6 years now, a while back I think 2 and half years ago or 3, I was seeing her 3 or 4 times a year, scheduled, I was in with her at my appt and decided to ask her if I could be seen two times a year, and she agreed to it, I think that is a good thing as for my doc and the condition I have and I was a little surprised when she agreed to the question I asked her, but if there was any problem with that she would have not agreed if my… read more

I had a friend who was with me almost every day, all day. She saw my seizures and could report them to the Doctors. She knew what brought them on. If I cannot remember things well (partly due to the Learning Disability) it was always a good idea to have someone accompany me. They can take notes or remember more easily.

Normally I see my GP & lymphoma docs once a year, neurologist twice a year, my other docs as needed. I've never had issues rescheduling appointments.

Yes. I also have zoom appointments sometimes as well. Like I mentioned, my regular doctor takes my blood and forwards it to my Neurologist. If there was an issue with my blood results, I am sure she would contact me(and probably would want an in-person appointment), so far, there has been no issues though!

I would not ask my Doctors to bring an MRI or way to give a CAT or PET Scan. I have groups that will drive people to Medical Appointments and home again. There is a Nurse who comes in from my Health Insurance once a year to get my weight, Blood Pressure, listen to my heart, breathing etc. She also goes over what medications and dosages I take.

GP at least once yearly and more often if I am sick. I see my neurologist every 6 months. Saw the neurologist every six months when I was taking hydrocodone for my headaches.
