I don't know about liquids, but you can crap your brains out for 3 days!
Ive never had a colonoscopy done. Ive given my doctor a stool sample each year and they tell me im fine. i dont need a colonoscopy done. The man i live with has just had his second one done. Were both 59 years old. He goes 2 days eating liquid foods like chicken stock, jello. The liquid they have him drink the day before has all the vitamins and minerals to keep him alive and not hungry.. How do you think people in a coma for years stay alive without eating? Most people that dont like it is because they dont like the emptyness feeling and hate the taste of the liquid and using the restroom too much. Hes asleep most of the procedure and doesnt remember much.
I have had more colonoscopies than I care to think about. TMI, I know and I apologize. Fortunately, I have not experienced any complications, knock on wood. My last few preps have been changed and they are much easier to deal with.
When I've had a colonoscopy test done, myself had to stop eating the night before and couldn't have anything in morning other than water to drink. I paid for after my testing was done and had a bad seizure. Hopefully when have to have done again won't experience that again.
When I lose my appetite after a seizure I sometimes only eat snacks not meals for many days but I have a dietitian who put me on small bottles of milky drinks to help keep me going, I have 2 a day plus I always have a bite before I take my medication.
A neutral? As far as nuts go and I don't know how many there are, which do you like to eat? Curious?
