Day of it when you are in the doctor at that moment face to face, curious and wondering is all, I am good doing a combo my opinion, what is your thoughts here,
I usually make a note of questions I have. without a note I would probably forget what I wanted to ask.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I'm slightly perplexed with your commentary. It was mentioned an appointment lasts for only 15 minutes; my first question is where are you located and my second question is if possible can you obtain a neurologist that can see you for a longer period of time like at least 45 minute to an hour? In my honest opinion that short of a time frame is not being fair to any patient for their health care or for obtaining information to gather information for health improvement. I had to remind myself every so often specialists work for me and I can change them if necessary. Thankfully, all is going well with the neurological specialist at this point in time so that is not needed. I do hope things get better with your situation! ♥️
I'm on a combo of 3 drugs can't miss a dose or I'm in big trouble.
I have a great neurologist, in Columbus, Ohio. He is the one who is going to let me have one more brain surgery!
When i was seeing my old Neurologist in the last few years it wasn't that bad. But I did start taking the appointments a lot more seriously after I had my last seizure. I would prep a list of questions that I knew had to at the very least come up, and if they didn't, I asked them. At the moment I'm stuck in a bit of a crossroads because my old Neurologist who was good has left and now, I'm stuck with whoever is there on the day. That's how it feels at least. I'm just lucky I'm not having seizures.
