It's a vent and question combo post here, they have a list of things I've read about say you should not do and such etc, but what if you did and it didn't effect you? I guess it all depends on how controlled your seizures are and how safe you feel doing that activity. I would get the advice of your neurologist and GP on activities you are interested in. If there's a safety issue involved, I would have a buddy along who understands your epilepsy and is there to help you in case of danger or harm. You shouldn't have to put aside an activity you desire to do unless it is deemed too dangerous by your doctors.

U never know unless u try. If ur not sure or haven’t tried it b4, just make sure someone else is with u just in case it does affect u negatively. And be smart about it- don’t try something that is potentially dangerous to anyone- like climbing ladders or using a table saw etc without having supervision. Otherwise I’m all for trying something new. As u said Dave, u’ll never know if it’s a trigger for u unless u try it. I know I do lots of things that epileptic ppl shouldn’t do and I’m fine with it, but I also have tried other things and they did trigger me so I know it’s not worth trying it again. We’re all different especially when it comes to what might or might not trigger us, so unless we give it a try, we don’t know what our limits are.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I road a motorcycle for years with epilepsy. You just need to know what works for you.
They are much easier to get to the side of the road than a car is.
