@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, I know alcohol does, coffee might with some people, but not all. For years my mother insisted coffee caused me to have seizures. When we talked to my doctor and brain surgeon, BOTH told my mother that coffee had nothing to do with me having seizures. Like I said, it is different for everyone.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, This is the honest truth. I am 54 and I have been drinking coffee since I was 5. I used to get up at 3 and I never needed an alarm clock. I would wake my parents up for work, make my dad's thermos and clean the snow off of my dad's car before he left for work. About 10 years ago, I used to drink about 4 pots a day. I would go to school and drink coffee with my teachers. In fact, one of my High School teachers bought me a coffee pot. LOL. I don't drink as much today because it leaves a bad aftertaste. I have cut down, I still drink about 7-8 cups a day(sometimes more, sometimes less).
