I've had to increase from 4mg to 6mg at night.
Id like to know anyone's experience, opinions whilst on it and how much you take please.
At the moment I feel like I'm in a permanent cloud with blurred vision and its only been 2 doses in.
thanks
Dee 😊🙏🏻

I take take a total of 14mg of Fycompa. My Dr. mentions that I’m a little of the Max does , which is 12mg.
My wife and I were told that if I start having any form of behavioral changes , to let the Dr. know. But I have been doing pretty well with it . I haven’t experienced the bad side effects.

While the search results don't contain specific information about Fycompa experiences, it's important to note that side effects like feeling cloudy and having blurred vision when increasing seizure medication doses are common concerns. Since you're experiencing these effects after just two doses of the increased amount, it's recommended to contact your doctor right away to discuss these symptoms.

Remember that medication responses can vary significantly between individuals, and finding the right dosage often requires careful monitoring and adjustment. Here are some helpful questions to discuss with your doctor about your medication adjustment:

• How long should these side effects last?
• Is this dosage increase appropriate for your situation?
• Are there ways to minimize these side effects?
• What symptoms should prompt immediate medical attention?
• Should you take the medication at a different time of day?

Keep track of your symptoms and side effects to share with your healthcare provider.
