I take Fycompa. The highest dose is 12 mg. one of the warnings my Dr. Mentioned for side effects is , feeling paranoid. If you don't normally get that way and you start feeling that way, you may want to change.

I took Fycompa. and omg the side effects where HORRIBLE worst medicine I have ever taken. It made me dizzy, confused, angry, suicidal...but it DID keep my seizures away. but I couldn't take the side effects anymore, so I had my doctor switch me to a new medicine.
I hope this med works better for you than it did for me,

I was taking Fycompa 2 years ago for a brief time. It seems like the side effects with me bothered more. I acted very unsteady when walking, loosing my balance, fell and hurt myself several times, 1 time requiring stitches above my eyebrow. It seems like my being steady with my actions really deteriated. Be careful.

I'm exactly the same. Changing meds all the time, your body gets used to one so it stops working effiently enough to continue hence a different med is tried. It's like a vicious circle.
