I changed from Clobazam to Xcorpi. My doctor said Xcorpi is a new drug and it's been very successful. I want to know if you've taken it and how it has worked. My doctor said if this doesn't do it, we are going to talk about brain surgery. I REALLY don't want brain surgery!
I've been on Xcopri for 3 1/2 years. Slept long periods and felt tired throughout the day at first. Adjusted my dose from 200mg down to 100mg at bed and haven't had those side effects anymore or any other for that matter.
Thanks all. My doctor had me go off the clobazam within a month, while going up slowly to 100mg on the Xcorpi. It's interesting that some of you are on a much smaller dose. So far I haven't been tired, and I actually think I'm more happy with this med (suffer from depression). The eczema is still a problem though.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, I've been on Xcopri for 2 years. I did have problems with dizziness, at first, but that isn't a problem. I do have issues with changes in appetite, though. I have to take it as soon as get home from work (usually around 5:30 PM, otherwise I might have some more dizziness in the morning. All in all, its the main reason why I've been seizure-free for almost 3 years.. Good luck!
