Hi this isn't meant to be judgemental or deragratory or anything but I was wondering why do people with epilepsy use wheelchairs? Does a limb stop working before or after a seizure? Is it a fear of falling? Etc.

Because a lot of things can happen with living with epilepsy. Thing like balance, weakness and other symptoms. Wheelchairs aren’t for ones that are just paralyzed and have no use of there lower limbs . They are for people like myself that have mobility problems as well as not a lot of strength in their legs it’s not pleasant living in fear when symptoms like I mentioned start happening.

I have a Rollator Walker. It was prescribed by my Doctor because severe seizures could cause me to loose my balance and have to sit down. Now that I have arthritis in my knees, it also helps.

Thanks for the question and answers. I have also learnt more. I knew that when I had a seizure and since I'm heavyweight, that's why they used it to help me move until I get my conscious back. But just in public places not home
