I had a really hard time getting SSDI. First I applied b/c of Epilepsy and was denied. The I tried with Epilepsy and Rheumatoid Arthritis (got that in Spring 2023) and was denied. Then I tried Epilepsy, RA, and I had a stroke. With the 3rd time you get a judge and they present your case. This time I got it.
I've been on SSDI for over 25 years. During that time, I've a few jobs (all of them were part-time). I'm getting married this summer to a woman who is the CEO and president of a company that provides housing for the indigent. I help her write speeches and go on business trips with her (she gets nervous when giving public speeches, but I have almost 40 years of experience in public speaking).
