When looking for a home that's safe for someone with epilepsy, consider single-story homes, garden apartments, or first-floor units in apartment complexes. These options eliminate the risk of falls on stairs during potential seizures.

Key features to look for:
- Ground floor access
- Ranch-style homes
- Apartments with elevator access
- Modern buildings with ADA compliance
- Neighborhoods close to medical facilities

Contact local real estate agents and specifically mention your need for single-level living. Many apartment complexes have accessible units reserved for those with medical needs - ask about these when searching. Remember to consider other safety factors in your new home:
- Open floor plans for easier navigation
- Carpeted floors when possible
- Good lighting throughout
- Proximity to your neurologist and emergency services
- Safe bathroom features like grab bars

Work with your realtor or property manager to ensure they understand your specific needs related to epilepsy safety.

Look into Habitat for humanity; I did have mortgage payments, but they were helpful to have & understanding of my health! I don't know what things are today πŸ€ŽπŸ™πŸΏπŸ™πŸΏπŸ™πŸΏπŸ™πŸΏ
