Had a possible seizure yesterday. Was walking to work and suddenly felt very bizarre with that funny smell and deja vu feeling. Then suddenly I was almost half way to work and didn't really know what happened. I felt odd all day at work, even my co workers kept commenting saying that nothing phases me as I was in a difficult class and wasn't really reacting to the drama that was going on but it was because I was away with the fairies a bit. Took a clobazam when I got home and just went to bed… read more

When my Dr. was located else where then now, I would ride the city bus to my appts.. When there 1 day had a strong seizure when walking to the appointment and felt loss. Walked around the building in a section I never went, finally came out of it and made it the rest of the way ... Whew!

Thats alright. To be honest I was like this when I had my last TC seizure. Even though I've had this for almost 27 years I never really bothered looking into it that much because my seizures were controlled for a long time. It was only really when I had a TC out of the blue 3 years ago that made me look in to more. My point is there is nothing wrong with asking questions.

Yep, Very likely a Focal. The best thing to do if this ever happens is do everything you can not to stress over it as stress will only make it worse.

I use to get focal seizures during the day, not frequently, but never really was anxious about them because they were pretty short. Now I mostly get nocturnal seizures which are blackouts which last a while. A little more disturbing. I agree with the person’s comment about not becoming anxious because stress makes them worse. A good nap during the day after a seizure helps a lot. Also, try to keep busy. Be well!
