I know we are in the computer era and technology part of living our life with, but they do have us in the system etc at least I think they do, but I am trying to say as if later if it's not in the works, having like a credit card for all the medical things you have gone through since being born, and then having put on that card for you own personal records and such etc, and every time you go to your doc or a medical system etc, hospital and get something done to you it's updated when you get any… read more

This is already a thing, and the Ai response is correct having said that a lot of times government cards won't be NFC they are just a digital card put on a app and the receptionist needs to manually enter the details into the system. But also out of all the digital cards I have that are not debit or credit cards there's only one that has this.

I wouldn't want to use a credit card, they are too easily hacked. I use an online "portal" that has all my medical records are recorded.

Yes, there is technology available that allows you to carry your medical information with you! Near-field communication (NFC) enabled devices like wristbands, wallet cards, and key fobs can securely store your complete medical history. When medical personnel need to access your information in an emergency, they can retrieve it from a secure website using these devices.

These medical ID devices can contain your complete care plans, prescription information, and important medical documents. This is especially helpful for people with epilepsy who may need emergency care when they're unable to communicate their medical needs. It's important to keep your medical records up to date and maintain detailed documentation of your healthcare journey. Having this information readily available can help ensure you receive appropriate care, especially in emergency situations. Consider discussing these medical ID options with your healthcare provider to determine which solution might work best for your specific situation.

My health care card has everything on it that’s been done to me since I moved here. All they have to do is type in my # and it all comes up. Or they can type it in and just see what ailments I have and allergies. Either way I’m glad it’s on there. Too many times I’ve been close to getting aspirin or tylenol- both of which I can’t have. So it’s saved me that way. And medical alert has a list of all my meds, allergies and ailments so it’s kinda the same. Just my health care card goes more in depth

I don't think they will ever find something to completely cure epilepsy if
that's what you're asking. Reasons being, there are so many forms of it and
so many different types of seizures. The fact that they have been able to
accomplish as much as they have. And they are learning more everyday we
should be greatful and proud.
