I have a few it’s going to be denied this time around as well and the third time around I’m probably going to have to appear in front of a judge to get it approved. Why is it like pulling teeth to get this done? It makes no sense what so ever. I have a legitimate.
Claim and I’m not one to try to claim this for the hell of it. I’m not trying to abuse the system. This is so aggravating.

Get an attorney that handles those types of cases. Let them handle it.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, After I was denied the first time, where I worked at a supermarket, the owner didn't want me working at his store anymore because of my seizures. He helped me get on disability. I was fortunate because I never needed to hire an attorney!

That is crazy! I was given disability retirement right away, but my
episodes were brought on by brain cancer, maybe that made a difference?

I understand what you are going through and praying for you. Get an attorney. I had to get an attorney to help me out and get written statements from my doctors and neurologists so that there can be proof and that attorneys can use this kind of proof to help us.

What has to be done is you have to have a doctor's statement proving that you have a disability that would keep you from working. And if you are approved, Social Security would owe you back payment if you had your disability for months or years without ever being approved of your disability.
