I Have Nausea And Constipation. No Vomiting. I Am Lucky To Get One Meal Down Before I Feel Sick. Yet My Stomach Hurts And Says Feed Me.

My head has been hurting today. I woke up with that, tried to eat breakfast, then got sick. Nausea, but no vomiting. Gas but also constipation. Cannot see a doctor until next week. Yet my husband thinks I am being lazy. I think I am going to tell my son. No high blood pressure yet, but usually that happens also. Would you try to be patient with your husband or go to your son for help?

Hello, You mentioned having very painful headaches, and then getting sick. That does happen to me sometimes. I have migraine headaches, when I have one my vision usually does split. Unfortunately I also get sick when I have a headache also. My Dr. has given me a specific prescription medication that I can use to stop 🛑 migraine headaches.

I researched the medication and the result was that it can take up to 48 hours to kick in after you've taken it orally. Is that what you have found?

Ask your doctor for lactulose for the constipation. It works!

Personally one thing that helps me when I have an upset stomach is having a bottle of Coke. There is something inside it that always settles my stomach. One thing to remember is the Red Sox are playing tomorrow afternoon. Watch the game!

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, write down when you are taking your medication and when you are having a meal. What you are going through is meds that have side effects such as nausea, it is best to take your medication with a meal. I have meds that give ne nausea. But if i take my meds with a meal i don't experience having nausea.
