Hello, I'm so happy that Xcopri has helped you. I started in September also and are up to 200 mg.
The side effects are hard on me too. I also take Lamictal.
I've had epilepsy since I was 14. I am 52 now. I have Myoclonic jerks which can make me fall and I've fallen and injured myself uncountable times. Xcopri has helped a little bit, but maybe as I increase, I will have better control.

I started in September of 2023 and went 3 months and one day without a seizure. I was taking 100mg by that time when I had the seizure. I just had my appointment with my neurologist a few weeks ago and he’s increased my dosage to 150mg. Before taking this medication I was having up to 3-4 seizures in a month so 3 months and day has been the longest since I’ve gone without falling out and I’ve had epilepsy since I was 11. Don’t give up and give it a try. For me the side effects are hard on me. I wish you the best❤️

No, I’m just up to 150mg of Xcopri. The decision on going up will depend on how I do on 150mg for 3 months. I have generalized tonic-clonic epilepsy and a few years ago after my last VEEG was also diagnosed also with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy. I’ve started having seizures since I was 11 and turned 29 this past November. Lamictal was the first medicine I actually started on and stayed on it for years but decided to get off it along with others such as Topamax, Vimpat, and Clobazam. As I grew older I decided take control of my health and epilepsy. I wanted to start living and not just be a zombie from just increasing the dosage of everything. Today I still take Keppra but refuse the my neurologist to increase the dosage because I was on the highest dose all throughout my school year, Zonisamide at the highest dose but have no problems since I’ve been on it right before starting college, and Klonipin which doesn’t bother me. I understand where you come from about falling and sometimes getting injured and I’ll be praying for both of us that this Xcopri will finally be a cure to our epilepsy❤️ Just take one day at time and keep on living your life to the fullest!!!
