With my seizures, I don't know when I have one someone has to tell me. I don't feel any warning and they only last seconds now.
Thanks JohnAndrew. I used to be able to work a little because my seizures only happened late night, but not anymore. Do you feel bad after your seizure, or feel nothing?
Cheryl, you're not alone with that type of seizure. I don't get a warning, or aura, to let me know that I'm about to have a seizure. Like you, someone has to tell me what happened. Unless it happens while doing something, like when I crossed the highway last month and got up to see cars coming my way. After reading your story, it is good to know that you got yourself out of that terrible situation.
Thanks. Most people think I am lying about my seizures and should not be on disability until they see me have a seizure or my husband confirms it by showing them a video of me having one. It is frustrating because I don't feel the seizure and they can't believe that.

That's exactly the type: you just 'stare into space'. In grade school the kids called me Zombie because it happened so often. I guess the difference between you and me is that someone can't simply 'snap me out of it'. When I have them, I don't have spasms. Rather become quite rigid.
Does that mean you stare into space and someone has to get me to snap out of it
